Using Alvin Lucier’s iconic sound performance I Am Sitting In A Room as a reference, I reenacted this performance to create a documentation of the interior space of my mouth. I recorded a speech that describes what I am doing, then repeatedly played it back into my mouth recording it using a small speaker placed in the back of my throat and a microphone inserted at the front.
